The housing assembly (10) has a base housing (12) in which a compression device and a control device for piston pump are arranged. The base housing is provided with an interface (56) which enables the connection of base housing with extension housing. The base housing includes motor flange (28) for fastening of an associated drive motor. A valve controller is arranged in base housing for controlling the drive motor.
