The invention relates to an electric cable comprising at least one conductor (2) that is provided with a metal reinforcement (4) lying between an inner plastic sleeve (3) and an outer plastic sheath (6, 7), the reinforcement consisting of at least one longitudinal strip applied concentrically around the inner plastic sheath (3) and that is adhered at the overlap point (5) by means of an adhesive applied here, in particular a hot-melt adhesive. In this way the transverse water tightness, the service life of the insulation and the transverse heat conduction in the cable can be improved. (Fig. 1) |
