The present invnetion relates to a coating agent composed of an organopolysiloxane having a condensed polycyclic aromatic group or a group including a condensed polycyclic aromatic group, to an electrical-electronic equipment covered by a cured product of the coating agent, and to a method for protecting metal parts of electrical-electronic equipment by applying the coating agent. The coating agent is capable of suppressing corrosion of metal parts of electrical-electronic equipment caused by a corrosive substance. |
