PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine abnormal water supply usage including a water leak from a water meter display and enable a user to be notified of that effect by utilizing a network environment.SOLUTION: A water meter detection unit 10 detects a water supply usage state from a display of a water meter 14, generates a water supply usage state detection signal, and transmits the water supply usage state detection signal to a server 22 via a gateway device 18. The server 22 generates a usage pattern indicating whether the water supply is used for each predetermined monitoring period on the basis of the water supply usage state detection signal transmitted from the water meter detection unit 10, determines a water leak when it is impossible to detect a time zone when water supply is not used from among the usage patterns, notifies a user of a determination result via a portable phone 28, and responds to a browsing request from an estate management company client 30. |
