PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the uniform contact state of the contact surface of a vibrator with a driven element, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The support member of a vibration type driving device includes a first fixed part fixed to a connection part provided at both ends of the vibrator, a second fixed part fixed to an external member on the side surface side of the vibrator, and elastic deformation parts provided between the first fixed part and the second fixed part. Each of the elastic deformation parts includes an inclined part inclined in a first direction and the inclined part is configured so that a crossing point in an inclination direction between the inclined parts provided in positions symmetrical with respect to the second fixed part is located closer to the side of the contact surface of a projection part with the driven element than the second fixed part. |
