PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for press molding a fiber composite molding, where gas and the like which are generated when heating and melting a thermoplastic resin are vacuum-suctioned, and, at the same time, air contained in the fiber can also be removed, and a fiber composite molding having high density without voids and the like can be molded.SOLUTION: The method for press molding comprises sequentially: a heating step B where a space 40 maintained between a thermoplastic resin R and a fiber material F is placed between heated one and another molds 19 and 20 or pressure plates 57 and 57 and is heated from both sides while performing vacuum suctioning for a specified period of time; and a pressurizing step C where the thermoplastic resin R and the fiber material F are pressurized while continuing vacuum suctioning between the heated one and another molds 19 and 20 or pressure plates 57 and 57. |
