PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission that can secure a function of sufficiently buffering spike torque generated in the shift transmission without increasing in size of the entire transmission.SOLUTION: The power is transmitted to a main shaft 2 disposed on an engine E side and a counter shaft 3 disposed on a driving wheel side, via a first gear train 31 to a sixth gear train 36. On the main shaft 2, a gear buffer mechanism 100 is provided which rotates the main shaft 2 integrally with a main gear 10 if torque is less than set torque and which relatively rotates the main shaft 2 and the main gear 10 when the torque is more than or equal to the set torque. On the counter shaft 3, a selector mechanism 50a is provided which selects the first gear train 31 and a second gear train 32. The gear buffer mechanism 100 and the selector mechanism 50a are a pair of gear trains adjacent to each other in an axial direction of the main shaft 2 and the counter shaft 3, and the mechanisms are disposed between the same gear trains (the first gear train 31 and the second gear train 32). |
