A storage battery unit integrally includes a storage battery, a controller that monitors the storage battery, a control power supply that supplies the controller with operating power, a charging-discharging terminal, and a switch disposed along a charging-discharging line between the charging-discharging terminal and the storage battery. The control power supply is connected to the charging-discharging line between the charging-discharging terminal and the switch, and receives electric power through the charging-discharging line to supply the controller with the operating power. The controller controls a notification means so that the notification means givens, when detecting a malfunction of the storage battery, a notification of the malfunction of the storage battery. The switch is opened when the storage battery is not charged or discharged. |
