The bar (1) has an upper combustion surface (4) facing a combustion side, and a rear support region (2) placed on a grate carrier. A front nose region (3) is rounded between the combustion surface and a front edge (3'), and cooling fins for cooling air protrude from a lower face of the combustion surface. A head part (8) comprises regionally thickened head fins that are arranged below the combustion surface in a longitudinal direction and a vertical direction. Head slots are formed between a lateral end wall and the head fins, where the bar is made of metal. An independent claim is also included for a grate. |
