The device has heaters (32,36,76,80) for heating a plate blank, and shaping tools (22,26,62,72) that are provided with two shaping elements and admits and shapes plate blank to bring plate blank into a desired shape and to manufacture shaped plate. The insertion units (44,46,64,66) insert shaped mass into shaping tool for molding plastic functional elements onto shaped plate in shaping tool to manufacture composite component. A closing unit opens and closes shaping tool. The heater is integrated into closing unit that is furnished to open and close heater. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing composite component. |
