PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery lead wire which does not cause separation or other trouble when it is in contact with an electrolyte for a long time and excels in electrolyte resistance, and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery using such a lead wire.SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery lead wire includes a lead conductor having a compound coating layer consisting of a reactant between polyacrylic acid and oxazoline group containing polymer on the whole or part of its surface and a thermal fusion layer in contact with the compound coating layer and covering at least part of the lead conductor. The nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises a sealing container having a metal layer, a lead conductor extending from the inside of the sealing container to the outside, a nonaqueous electrolyte sealed in the inside of the sealing container, and an electrode sealed in the inside of the sealing container and connected to an end portion of the lead conductor, the sealing container and the lead conductor being thermally fused in a sealing portion. In the nonaqueous electrolyte battery, the lead conductor has on its surface a compound coating layer consisting of a reactant between polyacrylic acid and oxazoline group containing polymer. |
