PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding structure of an optical transmission body capable of fixing and holding the optical transmission body by simple work, and for surely fixing and holding the optical transmission body while light loss is minimized, and a lighting system.SOLUTION: This holding structure of the optical transmission body includes the linear optical transmission body and a holding member for fitting the optical transmission body, the holding member has a projection piece made of an elastic body on an inner surface, and the projection piece tilts in the fitting direction by fitting the optical transmission body in the holding member. The projection piece is constituted of an annular plate formed with radial notches on the inner periphery, or the projection piece is integrally formed on an inner wall of the holding member. This lighting system has the holding structure of the optical transmission body, and includes a light source arranged in an end part on the side inserted into the holding member in the optical transmission body. |
