A fastening arrangement for positioning and fastening a decorative cover/garnish (24) on a window frame of a vehicle door. The fastening arrangement (30) has a first fastening element (26) associated with the window frame and a second fastening element (28) associated with the decorative cover (24), which cooperate in a form-fitting manner for fastening the decorative cover (24) on the window frame. The first fastening element may have flexible projections, may be made from plastic, and may be brought into engagement with the second fastening element by a single translator movement. The first fastening element may have first positioning surfaces 50 which cooperate with second positioning surfaces 52 on the second fastening element. The second fastening element may be integral with the decorative cover. The decorative cover may be attached to the front side door of a vehicle. |
