A low drag garment (11, figure 8) is made from a fabric 3 having a textured region with a texture height H which increases substantially continuously with the surface angle θ in the textured region. The surface angle θ is defined as the angle subtended between the direction of forward movement in use M of a body 2 and a line 7 that is perpendicular to the surface of the fabric 3. Optionally, the continuous increase in texture height H comprises a plurality of incremental increases wherein each increase is less than 200 mm. At least one textured region is provided in a first zone A (figure 8) located in an inner front region, a second zone B (figure 8) located in an outer front region, and third zone C (figure 8) located in a rear region of the garment, all in relation to a forward region of travel M. |
