PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an air-filled cushioning material having high cushioning effect, capable of being freely designed in conformity with the shape and weight of a commodity, facilitating filling of air and efficient packaging, having a simple structure, and capable of being inexpensively supplied.SOLUTION: An air-filled cushioning material is provided with an air chamber therein, wherein sealing surfaces of an outer surface film and an inner surface film are disposed opposite each other to seal a peripheral edge. The sealing surfaces of outer surface film edge parts overhanging from edge parts of the inner surface film are disposed opposite each other to form a fin seal part, and upper and lower edge parts are thereby annularly formed. The air chamber is divided into a plurality of laterally long small air chambers in communication with each other by air chamber horizontal seal parts alternately directed inward from a right peripheral edge seal part and a left peripheral edge seal part. Air is charged into all of the small air chambers by blowing the air from an air blowing port provided at one place of the peripheral edge seal part, and the air blowing opening is then tightly sealed. |
