PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration measuring device and a concentration measuring method that enable objective determination of whether or not a sternum is pressed appropriately.SOLUTION: A concentration measuring device 1 is a device for measuring a temporal relative variation (&Dgr;cHb, &Dgr;OHb or &Dgr;HHb) in at least one of total hemoglobin concentration, oxygenated hemoglobin concentration and deoxygenated hemoglobin concentration in a head that vary due to repeated pressing of a sternum, and comprises: a light entering part 21 for allowing a measuring beam to enter the head; a light detection part 22 for detecting the measuring beam transmitted inside the head and generating a detection signal corresponding to intensity of the measuring beam; and a CPU 14 for obtaining the relative variation (&Dgr;cHb, &Dgr;OHb or &Dgr;HHb) on the basis of the detection signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
