The invention relates to a cap nut. The cap nut can keep good liquidity of electroplating liquid and can prevent liquid accumulation after electroplating process. The cap nut (21) has a metal nut main body (22) and a resin-made resin part (23) which is inlaid and formed on the nut main body (22) and is integrated with the nut main body (22). An electroplating liquid discharging hole (34) is arranged in the middle position between a large diameter part (32) and a nut square part (33) and is formed through a main body side part (26) in a way of communication with a nut hole (27). The electroplating liquid discharging hole (34) is formed in a predetermined hole diameter for discharging electroplating liquid attached to a screw thread part (29). Because the electroplating liquid discharging hole (34) is formed in a main body side part (26), the electroplating liquid discharging hole (34) is arranged in a position where liquid is difficult to enter. The electroplating liquid discharging hole (34) is covered by the resin part (23) after electroplating process, which prevents accumulation of liquid going through the electroplating liquid discharging hole (34). |
