PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector, a projection state adjustment method, and a projection state adjustment program which make it possible to adjust a projection state of an image appropriately.SOLUTION: A projector 1 for projecting an image: comprises image projection means 2 for projecting an image; imaging means 5 for imaging the projected image; input image generating means (an input image generating unit) 61 which generates an input image based on an image information inputted to the projector 1; generating means for generating first image for calibration (a generating unit for generating image for calibration) 62 which generates a first image for calibration in which a first pattern including a plurality of detection regions which are not on the same line is overlapped in an input image and for projecting it by image projecting means 2; and projection state adjustment means (a projection state adjustment unit) 69 for adjusting a projection state of an image based on a detection region detected in a first image for calibration imaged by imaging means 5. The first pattern includes a first portion having a first gray scale and a second portion having a second gray scale different from the first gray scale, the second portion surrounding the first portion. |
