PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit capable of improving the heat exchange performance encompassing a snowfall time without increasing the unit size.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger 30 and a casing. An upper end part 31a in a vertical direction of first heat exchange parts 30b and 30d constituting the heat exchanger 30 is arranged on the inside of a lower end part 31b in a vertical direction in the casing of the first heat exchange parts 30b and 30d. An upper end part 31a in a vertical direction of second heat exchange parts 30a and 30c constituting the heat exchanger 30 is arranged on the outside of a lower end part 31b in a vertical direction in the casing of the second heat exchange parts 30a and 30c. The sum of areas of first faces S1 of the one or more first heat exchange parts 30b and 30d in the heat exchanger 30 facing outside of the casing is less than half of the sum total of the sum of areas of second faces S2 of the one or more second heat exchange parts 30a and 30c in the heat exchanger 30 facing outside of the casing and the sum of areas of the first faces S1. |
