PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for suspension that can be easily and surely bonded to an external connection substrate.SOLUTION: A substrate for suspension comprises: an insulation layer 10; a metal support layer 20 provided on one surface of the insulation layer 10; and a wire layer 30 provided on the other surface of the insulation layer 10. The wire layer 30 includes a plurality of wires 31, and a connection terminal 33 that is connected to each wire 31 and can be bonded to an external terminal of an external connection substrate. The metal support layer 20 includes a metal frame part 22 including a metal opening part 21 and provided at a tail part 3. The connection terminals 33 are arranged in parallel to each other on the metal opening part 21 and are exposed at the metal opening part 21. In the metal frame part 22, a metal notch part 23 is provided on at least one side on an extension line in the parallel direction of the connection terminals 33. |
