PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing NaNbOfine particles of a small particle diameter, not using a large amount of NaOH and not exhausting a large amount of strong alkaline waste liquids.SOLUTION: A method for producing sodium niobate fine particles includes a process of preparing a mixture that contains niobium oxide, aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, and a sodium niobate produced in another process, and a process of applying a hydrothermal treatment to the mixture. It is desirable that a surface area S of the sodium niobate produced in another process in contact with 1 L of the aqueous sodium hydroxide solution satisfies 0<S≤100 m. |
