PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing device using a zoom lens which offers a high zoom ratio, facilitates capturing high-quality images, and enables reduction of thickness and width of the image capturing device.SOLUTION: An image capturing device includes an image sensor and a zoom lens for forming an image on the image sensor. The zoom lens includes a front group comprising an eleventh lens group having positive refractive power and twelfth lens group having negative refractive power, a middle group which includes a reflector member for bending an optical path and has positive refractive power, and a rear group comprising a plurality of lens groups arranged in order from the object side to the image side. The middle group has a lens component having positive refractive power on each of the object side and image side of the reflector member. When zooming, the middle group is stationary while the eleventh lens group, the twelfth lens group, one or more of the lens groups constituting the rear group, and the image sensor move. Displacements M11, MS of the eleventh lens group and the image sensor when zoomed from the wide angle end to the telephoto end are set appropriately. |
