PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation body for stirring a molten metal which can suppress the intrusion of the molten metal into a through hole of a shaft even when the supply of a gas is stopped at the state of being immersed in the molten metal.SOLUTION: In a rotation body for stirring a molten metal having a cylindrical shaft 1f with a hollow part whose both ends are open and a stirring part 1a fixed to one end of the shaft 1f, a large diameter hole part 2i positioned at a one end side and a short diameter hole part 1i for supplying a gas positioned at another end side of the large diameter hole part 2i so as to communicate to the large diameter hole part 2i are constituted. The cross-sectional area of the large diameter hole part 2i is 10 times or more of that of the short diameter hole part 1i. |
