PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide LaTiOparticles achieving both high crystallinity and reduction in the size of primary particles.SOLUTION: There are provided LaTiOparticles having a primary particle diameter of 70 nm or less and a light absorptivity at a wavelength of 800 nm of 0.20 or less as measured by diffuse reflection spectrum. In addition, LaTiOparticles have a photocatalyst activity due to a high ultraviolet-response and are useful for highly activating LaTiON, which is a visible light-responsive photocatalyst, by a nitriding treatment. |
