PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material that can be jointed firmly in a short time and improve the mechanical characteristics of the whole joint member and reliability by suppressing an inhomogeneity of a composition or tissue in a junction regardless of the composition of a joint object member.SOLUTION: The joint material of this invention, which is a joint material interposed between a first end made of a first steel material of a first member and a second end made of a second steel material of a second member and joints the first member with the second member by being heated at a joint temperature lower than a melting point of the first steel material and that of the second steel material, is characterized by being made of a stabilization cementite that is a Mn-containing cementite. This stabilization cementite preferably further contains Cr. At this time, if it is in a range satisfying Y≥-0.53X+0.7 where a Mn amount is X and a Cr amount is Y, a stable cementite single phase can preferably be obtained up to a high-temperature range. |
