PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily accommodate different path lengths of a protective member.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a wire harness with a protective member is a method for manufacturing a plurality of types of wire harnesses with protective members having different path lengths of portions to be protected. The method for manufacturing a wire harness with a protective member includes the steps of: (a) arranging a plurality of drags 44, 46, 48 in accordance with path length of a portion of a wire harness WH to be protected; (b) covering the wire harness WH with a nonwoven member 22; (c) arranging the nonwoven member 22 in the plurality of drags 44, 46, 48; (d) arranging a plurality of copes 54, 56, 58 on the plurality of drags 44, 46, 48, respectively; and (e) compressing and heating the nonwoven member 22 between the plurality of drags 44, 46, 48 and the plurality of copes 54, 56, 58. |
