PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phthalocyanine compound showing a feature of absorption wavelengths conforming to the target wavelengths of an infrared cut filter or a light-selective transmission layer.SOLUTION: The phthalocyanine compound includes moieties Zto Zin a phthalocyanine skeleton, in which 6 to 12 of the moieties are a substituent (a-1) defined below and any of (b) to (h), or over 8 to 12 of the moieties are a substituent (a-2) defined below, and the balance is a chlorine atom or a bromine atom. In formula (2), R1 represents an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R4 represents an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a halogen atom; m is an integer of 1 to 4; and p is an integer of 0 to 4. The substituent (a-1) is defined when n is an integer of 1 to 3; and the substituent (a-2) is defined when n is 0; and (b) to (h) each represent a specified substituent. |
