摘要 |
A magnetic brake capable of stopping smoothly the rotating body and as well as minimizing a braking impact applied to the rotating body through gradually increasing a frictional force generated between a disk portion and a pad portion is disclosed. The magnetic brake is usefully applied to a joint portion of a robot arm which requires precise controlling since it minimizes a braking impact applied to the rotating body and smoothly stops the rotating body with a very simple and compact structure. Also, the magnetic brake is manufactured in a simple and compact structure, therefore a restriction of installing space is minimized, and various devices to which the magnetic brake is applied can be smaller and lighter. |
