PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof joint member for a staircase that realizes even better bonding and waterproofing properties, to be used at a joint between the top end part of a staircase and the floor surface of the upper story.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a joint member 1 used on the frame of an upper story floor P1 to which the top end part of a staircase R is joined. The joint member 1 comprises a beam connecting part 11 fixed on the top surface of a floor beam of the upper story, an adjustment part 12 erected on the beam connecting part 11 and supports flooring material P11 of the upper story floor P1, and a staircase side connecting part 13 fixed on a corridor beam H3 onto which a staircase frame H4 is installed, where the staircase frame extends toward the direction of the staircase R from the adjustment part 12 and defines the staircase side R of the upper story floor P1 as well as the top end part of the staircase R. The distance from the adjustment part 12 in the direction toward the eaves from an upper story floor beam H1 is determined to be consistent with the distance that the staircase side connecting part 13 can connect with the corridor beam H3. |
