The production of a safety element for a security paper, a valuable document or like with a substrate (10), comprises applying a first layer (1) on the substrate, applying a second layer (2) on the first layer, embossing a hologram or hologram-like diffraction structure on the coating layer and hardening the coating. A third layer (3) is applied on the second layer and further layers are applied over the third layer. Before the embossing, a partial hardening takes place on the uppermost layer. The layer hardening takes place via temperature increase, ultraviolet radiation and/or electron beam. The production of a safety element for a security paper, a valuable document or like with a substrate (10), comprises applying a first layer (1) on the substrate, applying a second layer (2) on the first layer, embossing a hologram or hologram-like diffraction structure on the coating layer and hardening the coating. The application of the layers takes place via roller coating procedure, gap coating procedure, wire-wound coating procedure, slot die coating, dip coating, spray coating, curtain coating, air knife coating and intaglio-, flexography- or offset printing. Independent claims are included for: (1) a safety element; (2) object of value like branded articles or value document; (3) a security paper for the production of safety or value documents such as notes, check, badges or documents; and (4) procedure for the production of an object of value. |
