The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing a pack (63) for products (10) of the cigarette industry, wherein the pack (63) is formed from two separate blanks (13, 14) which are combined with one another during transport with a conveying device (34). The invention is characterized in that a first blank (13), in particular an outer blank, and a second blank (14), in particular an inner blank, are in each case fed on separate conveying means, in particular an outer blank conveyor (32) on the one hand and an inner blank conveyor (33) on the other hand, to a pocket-chain conveyor (34), wherein first of all the first blank (13) is punched into a pocket (57) of the pocket-chain conveyor (34) and wherein thereafter the second blank (14) with the products (10) is held ready above the pocket (57) with the first blank (13) and is punched into the pocket (57) or the first blank (13) situated therein, wherein the blanks (13, 14) are connected to one another by adhesive bonding and wherein the blanks (13, 14) are folded during further transport on the pocket-chain conveyor (34) and, subsequent to the pocket-chain conveyor (34), are transferred to a discharge conveyor (35) for completing the pack (63) and finally to a drying device (36) for curing glued connections. |
