PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact press component inspection apparatus capable of determining the acceptability of a press component at a low cost.SOLUTION: A conveyor 2 conveys a press component 10 having a flat portion 10a and side faces 10b. A CCD camera 3 takes an image of the press component 10 from a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction. A white LED 4a is disposed beside the CCD camera 3 to vertically illuminate the flat portion 10a of the press component 10 which enters an imaging area of the CCD camera 3 with light. Red LEDs 5a are disposed beside the white LED 4a to illuminate the flat portion 10a of the press component 10 which enters an imaging area of the CCD camera 3 with light at an angle. A control panel 6 includes: a processing section 6a that processes the image of the press component 10 taken by the CCD camera 3, and a storage 6b that previously stores reference data of a finished state of the surface of the press component 10. The acceptability of the press component 10 is determined based on the data processed by the processing section 6a and the reference data. |
