PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device easy in installation in a vehicle, and presenting information of becoming a standard in edge alignment, without hindering visibility.SOLUTION: A standard display machine 1 as an information display device is composed of standards 1a and 1b formed on a dashboard 100. The standard 1a is formed in a front passenger seat side part of the dashboard 100 so as to extend toward the left front and to become large toward the tip direction in is width dimension. A virtual image of the standard 1a is projected on front glass, and this virtual image is presented as a vehicle width line. The virtual image of the standard 1a projected on the front glass and an obstacle such as a parking vehicle can be directly compared, and the positional relationship between a vehicle and the obstacle is easily grasped. Since the virtual image of the standard 1a projected on the front glass and a white line can be directly compared, steering operation, such as lane keeping, is easily executed by executing driving operation so as to try to maintain a view of the virtual image with respect to the white line, the obstacle or the like. |
