A coating system suitable for application to a metallic substrate comprising a primer layer composition formed from an epoxy resin and an amine curing agent; and a top coat composition comprising at least one crosslinkable component having at least two acidic C-H protons, at least one unsaturated group containing component that reacts via Real Michael Addition with said crosslinkable component, and a catalyst for said Michael addition.
