A tool set comprising: a tool mounting plate 1 mountable in a metal working lathe, the tool mounting plate having a face 3 with a plurality of concentric grooves (4, figure 1); a circular forming tool 6 having on its first face an upstanding ring (10, figure 2B) which is an interference fit with one of said concentric grooves in the face of the tool mounting plate, a radially extending formation (5, figure 1) on the face of the tool mounting plate for co-operating with gaps in the upstanding ring on the first face (8, figure 2B) of the tool to prevent relative rotation of the tool and the tool mounting plate when fitted together, the tool having a second face 7 opposite to the first face, the second face having a convex formation and a mounting for receiving and securing a circular sheet metal workpiece 12; and a freely rotatable roller 13 carried on a spindle and co-operable with the circular tool to engage and deform the workpiece into conformity with the tool as the tool and the workpiece are rotated. Methods of using the tool set to form decorating nozzles are also disclosed. |
