PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of releasing heat in a slide-contact part between a developing roller and a seal member.SOLUTION: The developing device includes a housing 50 for storing a developer, a developing roller arranged in an opening formed in the housing 50, a seal member (side seal member 61B) arranged between the developing roller and the housing 50 and having a fabric member 61B, and a heat radiation member (heat sink 70) coming into contact with the seal member, to radiate the heat of the seal member. The fabric member 61B has fibers (longitudinal fibers B1) having a peripheral surface where a heat radiation amount per unit area is a first heat radiation amount and an end surface where the heat radiation amount per unit area is a second heat radiation amount larger than the first heat radiation amount and at least one end surface F3 of the end surfaces of the fibers is an inclined surface inclined in a direction where the fibers extend. The heat radiation member is arranged to face the inclined surface (end surface F3) of the fibers and is in contact with the inclined surface. |
