PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device capable of stably guiding a transfer entrance guide to a positioning unit.SOLUTION: A transfer device includes: a transfer unit that transfers an image to a recording medium; a transfer entrance guide 22 that is configured to be switched between a guiding position to guide the recording medium to the transfer unit and a retreat position retreated relatively from the guiding position; a support member 23 that displaceably supports the transfer entrance guide 22; a guide positioning unit 34 that positions the transfer entrance guide 22 at the guiding position; and a guide guidance unit 48 that guides the transfer entrance guide 22 to the guide positioning unit 34. The transfer device further includes a guidance auxiliary member 43 that comes into contact with a contact part 35 of the transfer entrance guide 22 to press the transfer entrance guide 22 in a guidance direction toward the guide positioning unit 34, when guiding the transfer entrance guide 22 to the guide positioning unit 34 along the guide guidance unit 48. |
