A user interface evaluation device that evaluates whether or not resources required for a person to recognize display content on a screen output by a target software fulfil prescribed standards, said user interface evaluation device having: a design information acquisition means that obtains information relating to a plurality of components arranged on a user interface screen for the software; a component recognition resource acquisition means that obtains, for each component, a component recognition resource being a resource required for recognition of each component; and a compatibility probability estimation means that uses the total number of obtained component recognition resources as a random variable, uses a probability density function, and calculates a compatibility probability being the probability that a required recognition resource fulfils the prescribed standards, said required recognition resource being the resource required for recognizing information output on the user interface screen. |
