The invention provides an electronic meter which can store detailed measurement data as required of a large-capacity data storage unit. A data storage unit (122) is divided into a plurality of blocks having a predetermined number of data storage areas; a data processing unit (121) disperses measurement data periodically read out in a cycle into the plurality of blocks, and stores in the data storage areas of the blocks; in the case that among the measurement data dispersed and stored in the plurality of blocks, no measurement data exceeding a threshold is contained, measurement data stored in other subsequent blocks other than a part of blocks at first are deleted in the plurality of blocks storing the measurement data; and the measurement data read out and obtained in a next cycle are dispersed to the subsequent blocks including the blocks in which the measurement data are deleted, and are stored into respective data storage areas of the subsequent plurality of blocks including the blocks in which the measurement data are deleted. |
