PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce scorching of a box having a peripheral wall by suppressing a temperature rise of the box caused by heat of a gas burner in a gas-fired heating cooker with the burner installed in the box.SOLUTION: There are arranged a box 1 opened upward, a heating part 3 with a burner in the box 1, a cooking utensil 7 for roast meat at the upper opening 6, a drain pan 4 at the bottom of the box 1, and a strap type heat shield 5 between the outer peripheral part of the heating part 3 and the inner peripheral surface of the box 1. The heat from the heating part 3 is thus blocked as much as possible and prevented from diffusing to surroundings. A peripheral wall of the box 1 is thus prevented from overheating. |
