PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system capable of pointing operation only for registered portable information terminals.SOLUTION: An image display system 1 comprises an image display device (projector 100), and a portable information terminals (smart phones 201, 202, 203). The portable information terminal includes a device information transmission unit, and an operation information transmission unit for transmitting pointing operation information. The image display device includes: a device information receiving unit for receiving device information (wireless LAN communication unit 50); an operation information receiving unit for receiving the pointing operation information (wireless LAN communication unit 50); a device information list generation unit for generating a device information list (control unit 20); a pointer display setting unit 22 for setting whether to cause the portable information terminals to display a pointer image corresponding to the pointing operation information, as pointer display setting information; and an image synthesis unit for synthesizing the pointer image on an image on the basis of the pointer display setting information (OSD processing unit 32). |
