1. A disposable and/or reusable kit for detection of a microorganism or group of microorganisms in a biological sample comprising:
a culture device comprising an incubator and an environmental chamber into which is placed the incubator or the incubator is attached; culture medium contained within the incubator that promotes the proliferation or stabilization of the microorganism or group of microorganisms; and a collection tool for obtaining the biological sample and directing delivery of the biological sample to the incubator.
