The group of inventions relates to the field of education and can be used in the teaching process for teaching a population comprised of different age groups, from preschoolers to university students and other levels undertaking self-education for the purpose of acquiring knowledge of different kinds. The present teaching method involves obtaining teaching information with a minimum sufficient textual and graphical content from a physical medium, and subsequently supplementing the information obtained with additional educational information. The latter is structured in the form of a multi-layered database in the memory of a digital computing device provided with a video camera, while the physical medium is provided with readable tags designed to enable the activation of software for the recognition and subsequent display on screen of additional educational information that corresponds to the read tag and is in the form of a virtual or augmented reality comprising sounds, speech, text, drawings and animation contained in the memory of the digital device with the possibility of individual selection, full or partial viewing and repeat playback. A teaching means comprises a textbook with minimum sufficient textual and graphical content, the pages of which are provided with tags, and a digital computing device with special software, the memory of which contains educational information that is viewed in the form of a virtual or augmented reality with sound, speech, text, drawings, animation and other accompaniments. The result is a broader assimilation of educational information, a more reliable transfer of such information, a better quality of knowledge, and the availability of a greater overall volume and better quality of educational information, with a simultaneous decrease in number of physical media and a reduction in the weight of teaching means. |
