PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boost control device for a fuel injection valve, that can improve detection accuracy of valve close timing of the fuel injection valve while securing proper valve open by application of a boosting voltage to the fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: A boost control device for a fuel injection valve controls boosting of a voltage applied to the fuel injection valve 4 for driving the fuel injection valve 4 of an electromagnetic type. The boost control device comprises: a boosting circuit 20 for boosting a voltage VB of an electric power source 11; an application means 2 applying a boosting voltage VC boosted by the boosting circuit 20 to the fuel injection valve 4 for opening the fuel injection valve 4; a valve close timing detection means 2 detecting valve close timing of the fuel injection valve 4 on the basis of a current IAC or a voltage VINJ energized to the valve injection valve 4; and a control means 2 executing control such that boosting operation by the boosting circuit 20 is stopped when detecting the valve close timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
