A cooker (100a) is provided with a heating coil unit (2a) that has a row including at least four heating coils (3) that are co-planar inside a body (1). The heating coil unit (2a): has a first heating coil (4) disposed at one end of the row, a second heating coil (5) disposed at the other end of the row, a third heating coil (6) adjacent to the first heating coil (4), and a fourth heating coil (7) adjacent to the second heating coil (5); and has at least three adjacent heating coil (3) pairs. In at least one of the at least three adjacent heating coil (3) pairs in the row, currents flow in mutually opposite directions. Currents flow in the first and third heating coils (4, 6) in the same direction and currents flow in the second and fourth heating coils (5, 7) in the same direction. The present embodiment makes it possible to improve heating efficiency and inhibit electromagnetic wave leakage.
