Disclosed are a method for displaying an application storage space and a terminal, which are used for enabling a user to intuitively sense a usage situation of the application storage space, so that the storage space can be cleaned in time to ensure the normal and high-efficiency operation of the terminal. The method comprises: a terminal firstly displaying a first icon on a desktop in a first display mode (101); and when it is determined that a storage space used by a first application corresponding to the first icon is greater than a pre-set storage threshold value, the terminal displaying the first icon using a pre-set display mode which is different from the first display mode (103). |
