PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device which can suppress a change of an attitude during the acceleration and deceleration of a carriage without enlarging a size.SOLUTION: A printer part comprises: a plurality of roller pairs for conveying recording paper sheets in a conveyance direction; a recording head for recording images on the recording paper sheets; a carriage 28 mounted with the recording head; a drive part 70 connected to the carriage 28 and moving to left and right directions 9 intersecting with the conveyance direction; a timing belt 77 for moving the drive part 70; and a second frame 52 for guiding the drive part 70 to the left and right directions 9. The drive part 70 is connected to the carriage 28 at a moving-member side which is located on virtual linear lines L1, L2 passing through the gravity center G of the carriage 28 in a plane view orthogonal to the conveyance direction and the left and right directions 9, and apart from the gravity center G, and the drive part 70 can relatively move to the carriage 28 to the circumferential direction with the gravity center G of the carriage 28 as a center. |
