The roving machine has a spinning unit which has a vortex chamber with an inlet opening for the fiber composite and a roving formation element in the form of a spindle. The roving formation element is partially extended in the vortex chamber. A discharge channel provided in the region of the vortex chamber has an inlet orifice for a rove with a diameter (F), whose amount lies between 4 millimetre and 12 millimetre, particularly between 6 millimetre and 8 millimetre. |
