PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refuse state detection device capable of accurately detecting a refuse state such as a refuse level in a container for storing refuse in a refuse incinerator.SOLUTION: The refuse state detection device includes: a photographic image acquisition section 31 for acquiring a photographic image obtained by photographing the inside of a container 12 for storing refuse for supplying refuse to a furnace body of a refuse incinerator by a camera 27 for photographing the inside of the container at the interval of 1 second for instance; and a refuse level determination section 32 for determining a refuse level as the surface height of refuse by an FCM discriminator 33 using a fuzzy c-means method from image data acquired by the photographic image acquisition section 31. |
