A device for extending the reach of a laser controller and attached laser from a personal computer, using a CAT5e cable of over 100 metres in length. The device can connect to up to four laser controller devices simultaneously via USB ports, and the laser control units can be controlled via a single twisted pair cable of the CAT5e cable. Another twisted pair of the CAT5e cable is used for an emergency stop control. The final two twisted pair cables of the CAT5e cable are used for isolating further parts of the laser system. |
